Developing the Leader Within You 2.0
John C. Maxwell
"I was really impressed with this book. It was an easy read and full of super practical thoughts to grow in leadership. I also loved the applications that were included. This is a great study to do in a smaller setting or one on one with a mentor. "

I Said This, You Heard That
Kathleen Edelman
"This book covers the 4 temperaments and has them broken into colors. Red, Yellow, Green, & Blue. The workbook includes the assessment so the reader/group member is able to take the test and identify their primary temperament. There is also an online video component to utilize with your group. All of this combined makes for a fun and informative group experience. This is a good study to follow up right after Rooted. Easy to go through and very informative with the whole group."

Creatures of Habit: Breaking the Habits Holding You Back from God's Best
Steve Poe
"This was a great independent study but would work really well in a group setting if the group has known each other for a while; the content and discussion could potentially open up a lot of vulnerable and sensitive conversations but a life group is an appropriate forum to call out potential strongholds and receive prayer and accountability from the other group members.. Each chapter focused on habits that can become sinful, keep us from right relationship with God, and negatively impact relationships with others: pride, anger, excuses, lust, cynicism, worry, complaining, workaholism, lying, idolatry, guilt, and prayerlessness."

Life Lessons: The Gospel of Matthew, Study Series
Max Lucado
"This study was a great walk-through of the book of Matthew. Some of the questions were very straightforward, so I recommend leaders prep additional questions to generate ongoing discussion in a group setting, especially for newer believers or really curious Bible learners."

Even If : A Bible Study of Habakkuk
Daily Grace Co.
"I went through this three-week study independently and really valued the deep dive into the book of Habakkuk, which I had yet to read until going through this study. Each week had prompts of introspection about God, God's relationship with Habakkuk, and God's sovereignty and justice. It also reflected on the importance of prayer, bringing any and all emotions and thoughts/doubts to God."
