Casa de Luz is a faith-based community resource center, embedded in the community they serve. They develop life-altering relationships that allow families to achieve a more sustainable life.
Currently they are in need of tutors for there after school program. While education experience is a blessing, it is not required. The ideal volunteer is a person who loves kids, has a great attitude and can be consistent. Consistency is the key in all the services they provide because it builds trust and relationships in their community.
Tutoring is scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 4:00pm-5:30pm. Volunteers are asked to work with children through the semester. You may volunteer one day or four days.
