My friend Alex is pregnant with the her first - a little girl. She has been high risk due to an autoimmune disorder and they just found out the baby has fetal growth restriction. She is currently 29 weeks along and pretty scared as the doctors had laid out all of the potential risks including stillbirth. Praying that there will be miraculous growth, birth of a healthy baby and for peace for the parents, Alex and Jonah, over the next weeks.

Today at The Crossing, my battery died as I got out of my car. I trusted God, went inside for the message, and believed someone would help. As a visitor who has attended three times and is considering joining this church, I expected fellowship to mean people helping one another. God told me not to ask, but to put my hood up and watch. I watched 50+ cars pass before someone stopped. It taught me that attending church is not enough; following Christ means living, serving, and helping as Jesus did.
