The Crossing Students Winter Retreat
December 6 - 7 | The Crossing Windmill Campus
We gather weekly under one name — the name of Jesus. But Jesus doesn’t ask to just gather once a week and call it good. We are called to a greater lifestyle than that. During this weekend, we are going to tackle a tough passage in scripture: John 15. Where Jesus tells us that there is no greater love than laying down our life for others. But what does that look like on a daily basis? Through messages, worship, small groups, and serving — we are going to learn what that looks like.
Friday Night: we will gather, worship, and learn about the statement “No Greater Love”
Saturday: we will gather and go into our community to be the hands and feet of Jesus showing the community the greater love that Jesus tells us to show. We will be tackling some service projects in the morning and in the afternoon shopping for some Christmas gifts for families who can’t afford them. We gather again to debrief from the day and worship together before we head home.
What is included in the price: your cost of registration includes transportation on Saturday, meals for the two days, a hoodie (which you will get when you check in), and $10 goes straight to the gifts for the families we are going to be blessing!
