Who we are
The Crossing is non-denominational Christian Church in southwest Las Vegas. Since we began in 2000, our mission has been “helping people discover Jesus and the journey.” We carry that mission out through a wide range of ministries. Our Sunday services include a Bible-based, thought provoking message that is relevant to your life, along with dynamic music, thematic videos, and other creative elements. We have children’s and student ministries with age-appropriate teaching and activities for birth through college. Our small groups and care ministries help everyone get connected, because we believe that life change happens best in relationships. We have outreach partnerships in five states and seventeen countries in order to promote unity and impact in our community and around the world.
We welcome anyone to participate in our community, coming just as they are, to experience the love and grace of God through Jesus. With genuine love and compassion for a lost and hurting world, The Crossing looks to build bridges to people within our community. We want to provide a place to help people live out their created purpose; a community of faith where marriages are healed and strengthened, kids and teens thrive, and people come alive as they serve God and each other.
With the partnership and support of Canyon Ridge Christian Church and Central Christian Church, Senior Pastor Shane Philip and a committed group of volunteers began the journey to plant a church in Southwest Las Vegas that would reach out to the area’s swiftly growing population. The Crossing, A Christian Church first opened its doors in September 2000 at Lawrence Junior High. Almost a thousand people came through the doors that day to be a part of God’s great adventure.
We believe that the Bible is the divinely preserved and inspired Word of God.
We have a great team here at The Crossing. Our goal is to be there for you. We're looking forward to meeting you. Here's a bit more about us.

Learn what makes us who we are and who we want to be.
We value the culture of intentional acceptance that Jesus created. We value his kind of unconditional love that accepts brokenness but encourages healing. Our community will point like a neon sign toward Jesus, and offer everyone an invitation to join our journey toward wholeness in him.
