Hurricane Harvey Relief

Hurricane Harvey Relief

There are many ways you may decide to assist the relief work being done for all the hurricane victims…and most of them will be great options. Here are a couple ways we would like to suggest for your consideration:

You may think, yes pray, but what else? Please don’t underestimate the power and importance of prayer. As mysterious as it may be, we believe in it. Let’s all join together in prayer to God on behalf of:

1. First Response professionals and volunteers for clarity, safety, and provision.

2. The victims displaced, injured, lost, or still in need of rescue, and all involved that they would be seen.

3. The local church to be the hands and feet of Jesus, offering love, hope, resources and family.

If you would like to personally donate to Hurricane Harvey relief, these are two partners that we trust and who are already assisting. 100% of the donations received will go to disaster relief.

New Hope Church

New Hope Church has multiple campuses in the Houston area. They have thousands of people who have been affected by the flood. In addition, they are prepared to be a hub for relief to thousands of people for months to come.

Convoy of Hope

Convoy of Hope is already on the ground providing disaster relief. They have helped millions of people with immediate disaster relief around the world. They work through churches and government agencies to bring immediate supplies to those affected.

What’s Next?

On August 29, 2017, The Crossing sent $10,000 to New Hope Church to assist in their relief efforts. Pastor Shane also wrote a letter to the congregation that you can read HERE.

Compassion is not something that we DO as followers of Jesus, it is who we ARE.
