Caring for Your Marriage Before It Starts

Congratulations on your engagement! Premarital classes are a great way to learn how to communicate with understanding, discover the secret to reducing and resolving conflict, master the skills of money management, understand the essential ingredients to lasting love and to make your marriage everything it is meant to be. Included in this 4-week course is a robust, personalized and powerful new tool called the SYMBIS Assessment. Our certified facilitator will guide couples through the SYMBIS, which helps assess everything from psychological well-being to revealing how combined personalities can be leveraged for optimal success in marriage. The fee for this class is $100.00 per couple; includes the book, workbooks, and assessment.

Wedding Reservation

“But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
-Mark 10:6-9

Congratulations on taking the next step to becoming one! Because of our commitment and desire to build faith-based Christian homes that will last forever, we strongly encourage couples to attend classes on “Saving Your Marriage Before it Starts.” You can find the next available class by clicking on the above toggle link directly above this section.

Your wedding will be one of the most important days in your life, and we want to make your wedding as wonderful as possible. Please understand that due to the numerous activities and events that take place at The Crossing, there are some restrictions regarding the scheduling of weddings should you choose to request one of The Crossing’s Pastors to officiate. Weddings will not be scheduled during the following days and/or times: Sundays (all day), Wednesdays and Thursday evenings, Saturday evenings after 7:00 PM.

Alcoholics Anonymous

This group is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. This group meets on Tuesday evenings at 7-8pm. For more information, please contact Gene Lewis at (702) 525-2418 or glewis501@gmail.com.

Nar-Anon – “Sharing Our Strength”

The Nar-Anon Family Groups is primarily for those who know or have known a feeling of desperation concerning the addiction problem of someone very near to you. We have traveled that unhappy road too and found the answer with serenity and peace of mind. When you come into the family group, you are no longer alone, but among true friends who understand your problem as few others could. We respect your confidence and anonymity as we know you will respect ours. We hope to give you the assurance that no situation is too difficult and no unhappiness is too great to be overcome. For more information, please call (702) 947-2080.
