Women’s Ministry @ The Crossing
Women at The Crossing is dedicated to helping women CONNECT in community, GROW in faith, and LIVE with purpose. Our desire is for every woman to experience safety and acceptance in authentic Christian community; equip her with the tools to become a fully devoted follower of Christ; and support and encourage her to impact her world by pursuing God’s unique purpose for her.
As women, our lives are full of responsibilities, obligations and roles to fill which means we rarely take time to care for our spirits. A woman whose life is balanced emotionally, spiritually, relationally and physically is better prepared to meet the demands of life, pursue her purpose and leave a legacy. The perfect environment to foster balance is in community with other women who are in the same place. You will be encouraged and challenged by other women who are also pursuing a deeper relationship with God.
Women’s Ministry Summer Series
This Summer for Women’s Bible Studies, we will be having IF:Gatherings. Join us for our Open House to register for a group and share the vision. IF: Table is a place for women to gather and share a simple meal and dive deep with people over real stories and Christ centered conversations. A time for a whole lot of laughter – and maybe a few tears – but time spent that leaves us with glad hearts. Full hearts. Grateful hearts.

Our Partner in Nicaragua:
The Crossing partners with Compassion Creates Change and today, with a glocal (global and local) strategy, Compassion Creates Change™ is successfully engaged in numerous ministry partnerships/projects in the U.S. and Central America. Teams participate in projects that demonstrate the transforming love of God and focus on community development initiatives alongside the children and families in the villages where we serve. Service missions partner in projects just like these:
- Construct a community park in a partnering village
- Host nutrition screenings and medical exams for vulnerable children
- Offer a Children’s VBS Camp (Child Development Program)
- Participate in community health initiatives: distributing mosquito nets, hammocks, and anti-parasite medication
- Construct a church, school or other essential facility

This November, fourteen women will travel to the heart of India, the Madhya Pradesh province, to provide Christian teaching to women and children in the region, and show them the love of Jesus. From November 2nd through November 13th, they will be serving the women of Mid-India Christian Mission by hosting a conference for pastors’ wives and women in ministry. In addition, they will be serving at the Oasis of Love with disabled children and adults, and Mercy Home, which gives girls a safe environment to go to school, learn about Jesus, and thrive! For more information about Mid-India Christian Mission, visit www.midindia.com. To find out more about the trip head to thecrossinglv.com/reach.
Women’s Ministry is constantly growing and reaching more people and we are always looking for volunteers for a variety of opportunities. If you are interested in volunteering in Women’s Ministry contact Laura Balch, our Women’s Ministry Pastor.
