Men's 12 Step Study Group

Step-study groups are held during the week and meetings generally last 2 hours. Men and women, separated by gender, work through the four Participant's Guides, based on the twelve steps and their biblical comparison and follow the "5 Guidelines" during meetings. Groups meet weekly for about 12 months under the gentle and loving guidance of a trained leader and/or co-leader to let Christ help them reveal and deal with issues in their lives that have become heavy baggage. Whatever the hurt, habit or hang-up might be, people honestly working through the material in these step-study groups are able to form strong bonds and support teams, find accountability partners, sponsors and friends through sharing and caring. Most importantly, they are able to be freed from the shame, guilt and pain of their issues by learning to let go and let God take over one day at a time!

We are working on brand new material that will help our kids discover who Jesus is and how they can journey with Him! Stay tuned for the future dates of our next Discover for Kids class! If you have any questions, or if your child is interested in Baptism please contact Lisa Gonzalez or call (702) 947-2080

Summer Camps 2017

Incoming and graduated seniors will head to MOVE this summer at Biola University in California, and will examine the life of Simon Peter. Simon Peter was a simple man minding his own business, doing the things a fisherman does. One early morning he was exhausted and frustrated, having spent an entire night fishing with nothing to show for it. Things just didn’t seem to be going his way. AND THEN …He met Jesus!
Join MOVE in 2017, as we look at several stories from the life of Simon Peter and see what kinds of “AND THEN …” moments Jesus might have in store for you.

DATE: July 3-8, 2017
WHAT: Christ in Youth (CIY) MOVE Summer Conference
WHERE: BIOLA University in La Mirada, CA
COST: $450 (until March 26) | $475 (March 27 – June 19)
CAMP IS FULL! — Click the button below to be added to the wait list.

We have instant food, instant shipping, and instant satisfaction. Yet, with all of this stuff, it seems like we still aren’t happy, content, or fulfilled no matter how hard we try. We have lost our sense of wonder. But what if we could find the joy, hope, and awe that seems so far from us? This summer, we will be looking at stories of God as He brings wonder, hope, and life throughout the Bible. Together, we will find ourselves awestruck.
Your student will not only experience God through the wilderness, but find their lives transformed at this camp geared for the next level of growth in their faith. Students will also get to kayak, shoot paintballs, climb the rockwall, swim, and more!

DATE: July 27-31, 2017
WHERE: United Christian Youth Camp (UCYC) in Prescott, AZ
COST: $380 (until March 26) | $395 (March 27 – July 13)

Have you ever felt like life can be a fight? You have all sorts of pressures with school, friends, family, and everything else; it can feel like we are in an arena. This summer, we are going to talk about some good news — God wins. By looking at the life of Paul, we are going to see how God steps into every part of our lives and finds victory. He takes Paul, someone far from God, and uses him to impact the world. God wants to do the same thing in your life. The question is — Are you ready? Students will get to kayak, shoot paintballs, climb the rock wall, swim, and get to know other students in their same stage of life.

DATE: August 1-5, 2017
WHERE: United Christian Youth Camp (UCYC) in Prescott, AZ
COST: $370 (until March 26) | $385 (March 27 – July 18)

Scholarship amounts are based on available funding and will cover up to half the cost of the trip.

How to be considered for a scholarship assistance:

    • Your child must be registered ($50 deposit required) for the trip before you can be considered for a scholarship.
    • Fill out a scholarship application and submit it to the main office by May 1st.

Family Promise

July & October Signups

Thank you for your interest in serving with Family Promise this year! The Crossing partners with Family Promise to host families on The Crossing’s campus four times per year. For an entire week, volunteers from The Crossing serve families by providing overnight housing and meals during a time of transition. The families spend their days interviewing for jobs, attending classes, and making the adjustment to a more stable future. They spend their evenings at different congregations around the valley for a week at a time.

In July and October, we will be hosting families here at the Windmill campus!

Click on the button below that represents the month you would like to serve. Then you will have the opportunity to select which day or days you can serve.
