Life is difficult.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV) Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all
circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (NIV) For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as
the world does.  4  The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On
the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5  We demolish
arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of
God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Win the morning, and you’ll win the day.

Psalm 5:3 (NIV) In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my
requests before you and wait expectantly.

Psalm 143:8 (NIV) Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for Ihave put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my
life.

Psalm 88:13 (NIV) But I cry to you for help, Lord; in the morning my prayer
comes before you.

Mark 1:35 (NIV) Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up,
left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
